Current work for Focal Point Gallery, Southend

09.09.13

We are doing a couple of projects at the moment with Manalo & White Architects.

The first of these is the new Focal Point Gallery in Southend –on-Sea.  Manalo & White specified our Iso table for meeting rooms and our new Flag bench as a gallery bench.  Both have been customised in colour and size to suit the exact requirements of the scheme.  In addition to these standard products we were introduced to the artist Marc Camille Chaimowicz who has been commissioned to create both a seating piece and a screen for the permanent collection of the gallery.  We have worked with Marc Camille to realise these items, using our cabinetmaking and upholstery skills and working with the bespoke department at Formica laminates to create a unique and long-lasting artwork (see detail above).  The new gallery opens at the end of September.
