MARK are delighted to launch two brand new seating systems – ‘Arc’ and ‘Studio’ – at Clerkenwell Design week this year, along with three other new products.
Arc is a concourse style seating system particularly suited to open areas. The graceful form of Arc can be configured to create flowing curves and an assortment of layouts. A short-stay seating solution, Arc can be used to break up space or add softness, colour or acoustic properties to open-plan offices. With both outdoor timber slats and upholstered indoor versions along with options to customize the base colour – the possibilities are endless.
Studio is a modular system of informal sofa and table elements that can be combined to form a flexible seating configuration or fixed banquette. A standard set of elements can be mixed with bespoke pieces to suit the characteristics of a particular interior. A smart solution, the minimal form of Studio can be customized with options of foot type or castor and the usual wealth of fabric and leather choices.
At the forefront of MARK’s philosophy as a British manufacturer is the ability to meet the needs of interior specifiers. MARK’s mission is to create a collection of products which can be tailored to any client or environment. MARK’s stand at Clerkenwell this year is a celebration of their most adaptable products. Scale models and other interactive tools will be available on the stand to further demonstrate the products’ versatility.
Also launching at Clerkenwell this year will the Mylar tub chair to accompany the Mylo and Mycroft and two new tables – the Verso table by Tomoko Azumi, available in indoor and outdoor versions, and the Universal, available in a wide range of sizes. Apart from Verso, the other new products are designed by MARK’s founders John Miller and Anna Hart.
The Design Factory is at the Farmiloe Building venue, 20-22 May from 10am-9pm.
