Design Kaleidoscope celebrates twenty editions of 100% Design by bringing together a selection of key products launched at Britain’s leading contemporary design fair over the last two decades.
MARK Product was launched at 100% Design in 2008 when the Net chair by Sam Johnson won the award for Best New Product. MARK is thrilled to be part of the exhibit – products featured will be the Horizon screen by Dylan Freeth and the Spin table and Verso chair by Tomoko Azumi.
Set in five mirrored room sets to create a kaleidoscope effect, each covering a four-year period of the show, the exhibition brings back to 100% Design significant pieces produced by a range of designers and manufacturers associated with the show’s history.
Starting in 1995, when the show was first held in a tent on Kings Road, Chelsea the collection reflects 100% Design’s role in launching the careers of famous names such as Inflate, Tomoko Azumi and El Ultimo Grito (designers of this year’s auditorium).
