Anna Hart
Having studied furniture design at Leeds Metropolitan University, Anna started her career in 1999 with Coexistence where she began to build her knowledge of the contract furniture market. Following this, Anna worked as an interior designer for DEGW London, leading projects for the BBC, BP and Crown Estates before relocation to Cornwall in 2004.
Anna has been involved in shaping a new, young, design-aware image for the county. Whilst lead designer at Absolute Design, Falmouth, Anna was responsible for award winning, high-profile design work such as Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall and The Hotel at Watergate Bay before she left to establish her own design studio and begin work on MARK.
Bringing all her experience together Anna established Collective Studio in 2007 and launched MARK in 2008 with co-director John Miller. Working alongside John, Anna works closely with designers, from the creation of the product briefs through to overseeing production.
In parrallele to her role at MARK Anna continues to work on other projects with Collective Studio. The studio works in partnership with other design teams and directly with clients.
