Power of Ten

To celebrate our tenth birthday, we have collaborated with ten leading architecture and design practices to reinterpret our Loops chair, designed by Studiomama.

Revealed at our London showroom at Clerkenwell Design Week, the ten re-interpretations were subject to a public vote; the winner was announced at our Power of Ten closing party on 23rd May.

HLWID:SR Sheppard RobsonManalo & WhiteMCMMorey SmithPENSONResonateSpacelabThirdway Architecture and tp bennett all took part.

The iconic chair was launched in 2018 and is the specifier’s dream; with various parts that can be finished in different colours and textures. The designers had the resources of our skilled staff and the full range of Kvadrat fabrics at their disposal. Some of the designers even deployed their own sewing skills.

A riot of colour, a tendency to push the boundaries and a certain freedom from the usual constraints of a brief came across in these chairs.

The chairs will be gifted to their respective design teams, but for now they’ll be on display at our showroom on 1 St John’s Square.
