You’re invited to join us this summer on our gorgeous roof terrace as we kick off with our Summer series of Table Talks.
Aimed at those of you who are knowledge-hungry, MARK’s co-founder John Miller will be hosting a series of informal 45 minute Table Talks in a series that gets behind the scenes of furniture design, specification and manufacture – we’ll then make good use of the terrace and serve up some tasty G&T’s!
At MARK we believe we can only bring about the change we need to see for a sustainable future by working together. With 30 years in the furniture industry John is uniquely placed to lead these conversations which aim to provide insights and non-biased information with the ambition to share knowledge between end users, designers, specifiers, dealers and manufacturers.
As well as his time in industry, John ran a BA course in Furniture Design and Technology for some years, and this series will share some essentials about how furniture is designed and made useful for anyone involved in specifying. All talks have an emphasis on dialogue between you and John giving every opportunity to ask questions about each subject matter; we’ll be looking at assessing quality and sustainability, and how to assess for common faults and failures.
